Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Operational Excellence team in the role of Operational Excellence Expert (System). This position is full time with 4 days of work onsite and one day remote. This role works out of our Gateway Plaza office in Indianapolis, IN. Role Responsibilities Champions program development for the System Operational Excellence Office to accelerate the knowledge and skills application of lean principles, methods and tools in healthcare operations in support of the organization's financial, quality, and patient safety goals. Leads and provides training, facilitation, and development of strategic high impact process improvement initiatives, utilizing an organizational approach to standardize, spread, improve, and innovate. Provides comprehensive support to ensure on time completion of system projects in alignment with the organization's mission, vision, and strategic imperatives. Acts as a mentor to develop lean application and coaching mastery with deployment teams in partnership with Operational Excellence Directors. Takes initiative to identify knowledge and skills gaps, and develops and delivers training to team members and leaders throughout the organization that is tailored to the position. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree is required. Master's Degree is preferred.
  • Requires 7-10 years of relevant experience.
  • 3 - 5 years experience implementing improvement projects is required.
  • 2 - 3 years experience with complex matrix organizations is required.
  • Process improvement experience required.
  • Change management experience required.
  • Project management experience required.
  • Requires basic proficiency in MS Office.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in the Healthcare industry is preferred.
