The Operational Excel Junior Management Engineer position at Parkland Health and Hospital System focuses on developing, identifying, and analyzing existing general business processes to ensure sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable improvements. This role is integral to enhancing the quality of healthcare services provided to the community by streamlining operations and improving efficiency. In this role, you will apply process definition, improvement, and design methodologies to identify, analyze, and enhance business processes. This includes developing documentation to support analysis and improvement efforts, such as business requirements, functional specifications, process maps, and gap/problem analysis. You will also be responsible for planning and implementing quality assurance and compliance processes, as well as supporting the development of training and change management materials to facilitate the adoption of new processes and procedures. The position requires staying abreast of the latest developments and trends in the field by attending seminars, reading professional journals, and actively participating in professional organizations. You will integrate the knowledge gained into current work practices to ensure that the organization remains at the forefront of healthcare administration and support. Additionally, you will maintain knowledge of applicable rules, regulations, policies, and guidelines that impact the area, developing effective internal controls to promote adherence to these standards.
