About The Position

The Operations Auditor role within the Distribution Center (“DC”) at Ocean State Job Lot (“OSJL” or “Company”) is responsible for auditing the accuracy of vendor shipments, capturing the volume and universal product codes (“UPCs”) on all items received into the Warehouse Inventory, and performing inventory cycle counts and other audits as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic math skills are required.
• Proficient in Warehouse Management System and Google platform (i.e., Sites, Slides, Drive, Docs, Sheets) and ability to to learn several software systems.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail; this role requires exceptional accuracy.
• Ability to obtain a license to operate an Order Picker at high elevations.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts throughout the DC.
• Inspect conveyor lanes and induction accuracy on a daily basis.
• Effectively operate Cubiscan devices to capture unit volumes and UPCs when needed.
• Update the Internet sale store’s inventory on a regular basis and at the end of each year.
• Conduct periodic audits of outbound pallets and totes to ensure picker accuracy.
• Assist with the weekly advertisement and flyer accuracy in Store 123.
