About The Position

This position requires a strong background in network and systems engineering, with a focus on security and administration. The candidate will work with various technologies including Docker, SELinux, FIPS, RedHat Satellite, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, SALT, and Ansible. The role also involves monitoring systems using Prometheus and Grafana, and requires proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Bourne, or C. Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are mandatory.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must have TS/SCI clearance with active polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Two years of relevant experience within the last five years.
  • Level 04: Minimum fifteen years of direct/relevant experience.
  • Level 03: Minimum twelve years of direct/relevant experience.
  • Level 02: Minimum nine years of direct/relevant experience.
  • Level 01: Minimum six years of direct/relevant experience.
  • Able to obtain an IAT-I certification (e.g., A+CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+CE, SSCP).
  • Strong Linux experience.
  • Experience in systems/network administration and IT support.
  • Experience with hardware installation and network infrastructure.
  • Experience with storage setup and management.
  • Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience deploying and maintaining nginx.
  • Familiarity with Docker and RedHat Satellite.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing environments like AWS.
  • Experience with IaC products like Terraform, SALT, and Ansible.
  • Experience with system monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Experience with SELinux and FIPS.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop computer or information systems.
  • Perform programming and information/cyber/network security tasks.
  • Conduct vulnerability analysis and penetration testing.
  • Manage computer forensics and information assurance.
  • Administer networks and systems, including application support.
  • Support hardware installation for servers and network infrastructure.
  • Set up and manage network-attached storage.
  • Implement security best practices, including PKI certificate management.
