About The Position

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for safety, leading, planning, organizing, and directing all daily activities for the reconditioning operations, but problem-solving in other areas as they arise. This position is a working Supervisor who will be working side by side with their crew.

Requirements

At least 23 years of age
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Production Supervisor
Minimum 5 years of working experience in Production
Bilingual - Spanish
Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations.
Able to pass random drug tests.
Customer focus, dependability, teamwork, coordination, organization, time management, reporting, inventory control, documentation, and equipment maintenance
Some computer skills preferred, data entry skills a plus.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
Ability to prioritize and organize workflow daily to accomplish required tasks.
Must be handy with tools and mechanically inclined.
Leadership and supervisory skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control procedures
Ability to read and interpret production plans and specifications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Technical skills related to production equipment
Problem-solving and analytical skills

Responsibilities

Staff management: Assign tasks to production workers, provide training, conduct performance reviews, and address disciplinary issues as needed.
Production scheduling: Create and manage production schedules to meet deadlines and optimize workflow.
Quality control: Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality standards and identify any quality issues.
Safety compliance: Implement and enforce safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
Equipment maintenance: Ensure all production machinery is functioning properly and report any maintenance issues.
Inventory management: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and ensure sufficient supplies are available for production.
Problem-solving: Identify and troubleshoot production issues, implement corrective actions, and find solutions to improve efficiency.
Communication: Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and maintenance, to ensure smooth production flow
Directly supervises up to 40+ employees in their manufacturing area.
Directs workers in the inspection and quarantine of products that fail to meet standards.
Work with Production Manager and Production Scheduler to keep up to date with current schedules and jobs running.
Training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; suggesting discipline for employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Maintaining good housekeeping in their own work area and enforcing good housekeeping in the department they supervise.
