About The Position

Operations Scientist - I Work Schedule - Mon - Fri (Day Shift) Job Responsibilities: Conduct bioanalytical sample preparations Document work and maintain study documentation and laboratory records. Communicate with project managers, lead scientists, and supervisor on projects daily/weekly Order consumables for projects as needed Plan assigned workload on a daily basis and effectively schedule multiple assignments. Provide detailed sample analysis and inventory updates to project managers and lead scientists to ensure projects meet agreed upon timelines Set up, operate and perform routine and non-routine maintenance on general equipment Attend and participate in project meetings Support process improvement initiatives Maintain a clean and safe laboratory work environment Participate in client visits as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma with 2 years or more of laboratory experience
  • Experience using laboratory equipment (e.g., balances, pipettes, centrifuges)
  • Experience with analytical instrumentation (for gas, liquids or solids)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science/Arts (BS/BA) degree in chemistry, biology
  • 2 years or more experience working in a laboratory setting (e.g. balances, pipettes, centrifuges etc.)
  • Work multiple projects in various stages at the same time
  • GLP Documentation experience
  • Computer Experience (e.g., Word, Excel) or LIMS
  • Ability to handle a fast paced environment
  • Organized and detailed communication
  • Able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing
  • Experience working in a variety of study types, analysis procedures and methodology projects

Responsibilities
