Position Summary We are seeking Industrial Engineering Interns to support our manufacturing operations within the B1 facility. This internship provides hands-on exposure to Industrial Engineering fundamentals, continuous improvement, and daily shop‑floor activities. Students will work alongside experienced IE engineers and cross‑functional teams to support ongoing production, new equipment launches, and process optimization efforts.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Experience with time studies and standard work documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • High attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and ask questions
  • Adaptability in a dynamic production environment
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Junior or senior standing (3rd or 4th year preferred), with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and December 2027.
  • Must be a full-time enrolled student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited U.S. college/university
  • Minimum 2.5 or above GPA preferred
  • Must be able to complete internship from May–August 2026.
  • Must be able to complete 40 hours per week
  • Willingness to learn from others on the job
  • Must be currently residing within the continental U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • CAD experience preferred (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)

Responsibilities

  • Updating WCI (Work Cell Instructions) and standard work documentation
  • Supporting new machine launches and readiness activities
  • Conducting time studies and analyzing work processes
  • Performing line balancing to improve efficiency and flow
  • Designing fixtures, carts, and basic tooling concepts
  • Participating in 6S initiatives and Kaizen events on the shop floor
  • Supporting general continuous improvement activities as assigned
