About The Position

S&S Firestone, one of the nation’s largest independent tire distributors, is seeking a detail-oriented Operating Support Administrator to coordinate operations, transportation, and customer service activities at our Birmingham Wholesale location.

Requirements

  • Experience in operations or transportation coordination
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
  • Customer-focused and solutions-driven

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with systems like MaddenCo or WISE preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main contact for order, delivery, and inventory inquiries
  • Process walk-in, special, and return orders accurately
  • Communicate delivery changes and resolve issues with drivers, CSRs, and customers
  • Perform daily order reconciliation, cash handling, and deposit preparation
  • Receive and verify incoming products and handle warranty and credit processing
