Operating Supervisor Gas Pressure Control

About The Position

The Operating Supervisor will direct the administration and coordination of Pressure Control Operating Mechanic employee activities. Interface with interstate gas transmission pipeline representatives, perform mandated regulator equipment inspections and maintenance, perform various troubleshooting activities, support central & regional sponsored gas distribution capital and maintenance projects, perform mandated safety inspections and maintenance activities. Provide Department Manager with accurate and timely information concerning activities and performance. Assist with regional operating sections, and manage the activities associated with developing and reviewing performance in relation to the department's goals and standards. Prioritize various field operations including seasonal pressure adjustments, annual performance tests, periodic inspections programs, installation and maintenance of industrial customer regulator piping and equipment. Administer and communicate operating procedures, engineering, plans, and specifications to ensure proper installation and repair of Gas distribution facilities. The Pressure Control Operating Supervisor will become Operator Qualified in all of the covered tasks being supervised by the position within 12 to 18 months of entering the position. Responsibilities
