About The Position

The Surgical Technician performs technical skills and provides assistance to surgeons, anesthesia personnel, registered nurses, and other professionals in the Cardiac Cath unit. The technician may also perform similar duties in other areas of the hospital as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate from formal, accredited Surgical Technician training program or equivalent preferred
• Two (2) years of experience as a Surgical Technician preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and anesthesia personnel during procedures
• Provide technical support in the Cardiac Cath unit
• Perform duties in other areas of the hospital as assigned
