Operating on the brain requires extreme precision, and the neurosurgery team at Cleveland Clinic has years of training and experience in the most complex brain and spine surgeries. The neurosurgery team uses state-of-the-art tools to operate safely and, as often as possible, with minimally invasive techniques. This team treats a wide range of conditions affecting the brain and spine, including brain hematoma, cavernoma, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leak, Chiari malformation, epilepsy, facial pain, normal pressure hydrocephalus, pseudotumor cerebri, skull base dehiscence and subdural hematoma. As an Operating Room (OR) Service Assistant, you will assist in transporting patients and setting up the OR for caregivers. In an environment grounded in advanced technology and innovative treatment, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in various medical instruments, procedures, sterilization processes and more. A caregiver in this role works 5:00am to 1:30pm or 7:00am to 3:30pm.
