About The Position

Under general direction, this position’s primary functions are to schedule surgical procedures and ensure proper documentation and timely posting of surgical logs. The responsibilities of the Surgical Scheduler includes the following: scheduling all procedures involving Anesthesia services and auditing of surgical logs. The Surgical Scheduler works closely with the clinical team, medical providers, hospital staff, material management and finance department to provide care for our patients timely.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years of secretarial/clerical experience, at least two years of which shall have included responsibility for scheduling in a busy environment, Or , Two (2) years Healthcare or Customer Service experience

Nice To Haves

• Previous Operating Room experience
• Associates degree in an accredited MOA program or related field
