About The Position

Per Diem Registered Nurse First Assistant for b Operating Room RNFA will assist in orthopedic and/or robot cases as needed. 8 hour shifts, expected to float between Lansdale and Abington campus Job Description RN First Assistants are responsible for the following: Provide patient care and support before and after the surgery. Prepares all surgical tools and supplies needed for procedures. Practice surgical procedures that include controlling bleeding, draping, etc. The RN First Assistant is a registered nurse who assists the surgeon by monitoring the patient during procedures and by providing nursing care during a specific time period. Requirements

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
• BCLS/ACLS certifications required
