About The Position
Full-time Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) No weekends, no holidays and no call! St. Mary's Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Full-time Operating Room RN. Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of three years of experience in operating room nursing.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the surgical team to prepare and set up the operating room for a variety of procedures.
- Assess and monitor patients throughout surgical interventions, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Administer medications and assist with anesthesia as required.
- Maintain sterile techniques and aseptic conditions in the operating room.
- Provide postoperative care and coordinate patient recovery.
- Uphold infection control standards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Will serve as backup scrub tech, as needed
