About The Position

Responsible for immediately assessing each individual patient upon admission to OR addressing biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational, discharge planning factors and significant other/family support as appropriate.
Assesses and reassess patients on an ongoing basis, identifying patient needs/problems, nursing interventions. Develops individualized plans of nursing care for patients in the intraoperative setting and which meets the identified needs of each patient

Requirements

• Graduation from accredited School of Nursing.
• Current unencumbered North Carolina RN License.
• BLS certification upon hire
• ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire.
• NCI certification within 90 days of hire.
• One-two years of clinical experience in Operating room required.
