About The Position

Carroll County Memorial Hospital’s role is to improve the health and well-being of the residents and visitors to Carroll County and surrounding counties, by providing quality, compassionate, cost effective and convenient health care through community leadership and in collaboration with other healthcare organizations which serve our communities. This is a PRN position in the Operating Room department, offering $36/hour with no weekends, no holidays, and no on-call duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree from an accredited School of Nursing (required)
• Current licensure in the state of Kentucky (required)
• CPR certification
• ACLS certification

Nice To Haves

• Certification in area of specialty (preferred)
• One to two years clinical experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient/family needs for ages neonate through geriatric
• Demonstrate professional development and clinical competency
• Address health educational needs for patients, families, and other health care providers
• Manage patient care assignments and/or additional tasks related to patient and unit operations
• Act in a clinical leadership role, applying knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions
• Perform other related duties
