Operating Room Registered Nurse
About The Position
Leon Surgery Centers at Dadeland is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in surgical nursing and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality during surgical procedures. The Registered Nurse will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal care for patients undergoing surgery.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room environment
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for surgery and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
- Assist surgeons during operations by providing instruments and supplies.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes during surgery.
- Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Provide post-operative care and support to patients.
