About The Position

The Nurse Clinician II (NCII) is responsible for providing professional nursing care in accordance with the Texas Nursing Practice Act and HCHD Nursing Service standards. This role involves independently managing patients with common clinical issues, recognizing when to seek assistance, and utilizing appropriate resources to ensure patient safety and care quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited school.
• Registered Nurse licensed to practice in the State of Texas.
• Basic Life Support certification from an AHA or Red Cross approved program.
• One year of full-time RN experience or completion of a Graduate Nurse Program.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual skills preferred.
• Above average verbal communication skills, especially in public contact situations.
• Exceptional verbal skills for public speaking and writing/composing correspondence/reports.

Responsibilities
