Operating Room Radiology Technologist
About The Position
The OR X-Ray Radiology Technologist will be responsible for setting up sterile trays and assisting the radiologists during the following procedures: myelogram, arthrogram, aspiration and steroid injection exams. The technologist will also be responsible for emergent X-rays from the ED and the In-Patient areas and any walk in, routine X-rays ordered. The North Central Imaging department is a fast paced area and the technologist must be flexible to move between multiple exams, areas and be able to manage his/her time effective and communicate well while maintaining a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Setting up sterile trays
- Assisting the radiologists during the following procedures: myelogram, arthrogram, aspiration and steroid injection exams
- Responsible for emergent X-rays from the ED and the In-Patient areas and any walk in, routine X-rays ordered
