About The Position

We have 10 brand new, state of the art, operating rooms for general surgery, colorectal, breast and plastic surgery reconstruction, urology, robotics, and neurosurgery cases located in the ACC at Norman Regional Hospital. The Periop Assistant role provides basic patient care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or the equivalent preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained for duration of employment

Nice To Haves

• Previous hospital experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides basic care pre-operatively.
• Assists in the assigned perioperative area.
• Provides post-operative collaboration to maintain a clean environment.
• Understands the basic principles of asepsis.
• Assigned daily tasks
