About The Position

Performs a variety of patient care services and activities for the maintenance of a safe and clean environment in the Perioperative Division.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED
• Ability to communicate with co-workers, patients, and families in a professional manner
• Ability to provide for safety and confidentiality in all situations
• Ability to acquire techniques necessary for the operating room including, but not limited to, sterility and equipment usage.
• The individual must be flexible and be able to work calmly in an emergency situation.
• The individual should be dependable to work with little supervision, but able to take directions from others.

Nice To Haves

• One year experience as a Nursing Assistant in the operating room.
• One year hospital experience in related field.
• Computer skills.
