Nearly 30,000 operative procedures are conducted at BIDMC every year - Fully impatient CampusOperating Room West (10 Rooms) Inpatient Level I Trauma Surgery Bariatric, Neurosurgery, ENT, Orthopedic Trauma, Spine, Major Plastic Reconstruction, Robotic Surgery, and Kidney & Liver Transplants. Operating Room East (20 Rooms) High-volume general and specialized surgery (40-60 cases/day) OB/GYN, Colorectal, Plastics, Ortho-sports, General, ENT, Eyes, Cysto, General Urology, Robotics, Interventional Pulmonology, and Podiatry. Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVI OR)State-of-the-art facilities, including two endovascular suites and a cardiac hybrid room.Each day our team staffs 4 cardiac surgery rooms are covered along with 3 vascular/endovascular rooms and 2-3 thoracic roomsCardiac, Endovascular/Vascular, Thoracic, and Interventional Pulmonology.
