About The Position
At STERIS, we help our Customers create a healthier and safer world by providing innovative healthcare and life science product and service solutions around the globe. The position involves coordination and oversight of instrument readiness in the Operating Room and Sterile Processing Department (SPD) to facilitate efficient case flow. The role is responsible for overseeing and/or assisting in projects and process improvement initiatives in compliance with contractual obligations. It promotes customer service/satisfaction through resolution of OR/SPD issues within the facility and performs duties in accordance with hospital, TJC, AORN, AAMI and other appropriate policies and procedures. The position also provides oversight to projects and assists in new hire orientation and training, using developed skills and practical knowledge to perform scheduled and unscheduled tasks independently.
