POSITION OVERVIEW: Responsible for the daily flow of perioperative patients in the Operating Room Suite. Responsible to plan, implement, and evaluate care for surgical patients. This encompasses patient issues, staffing issues, schedule issues, and daily problem solving. Ensures staff adhere to patient safety standards, and documentation requirements according to AORN standards, recommended practices. Works cooperatively with: Providers, Healthcare Professionals, and Allied Health Staff. Works collaboratively daily with the Great Falls Hospital PACU Charge Nurse/Supervisor. Receives direction fro

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
• 5+ years OR Circulating experience, required
• MT RN licensure
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• Basic Nursing Principles and Procedures.
• Principles of Asepsis.
• AORN Guidelines for Perioperative Practice.
• Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.

Nice To Haves

• BSN, preferred
• Critical Care nursing experience, preferred.
• Previous Charge Nurse experience, preferred.
