About The Position

About this unit Ten operating rooms with a separate Cystoscopy Room. Rotating shifts of 8 and 12 hours with some call on weekends and during the week. State of the art hybrid room just opened with the rest of OR currently under renovation. We support many service lines: General, GYN, Urology, Neuro, and specialize in Orthopedics. It is a Magnet-designated facility that provides exceptional nursing and advanced care services for our patients. This facility is home to The James and Patricia Anderson Surgical Center, a leading-edge, hybrid surgical unit that offers advanced technologies to perform a wide variety of procedures. It is also home to the Cotton Family Birth Center which has received the Baby Friendly designation by Baby-Friendly USA. Scope of work Works under the direction of the Operating Room Attendant Supervisor. Turnover the OR room, wipe all the equipment down in the OR room, mop the floors. Restock supplies and housekeeping carts. Pick up patient beds for the surgeries of the day. Makes runs to the Lab and Blood Bank when requested by the OR room. Provide the highest quality of service delivered efficiently, effectively, and compassionately as outline in our standards 100% of the time.

Requirements

• High School Diploma Required

Nice To Haves

• Six months to one year prior OR assistant experience is Preferred

Responsibilities

• Turnover the OR room
• Wipe all the equipment down in the OR room
• Mop the floors
• Restock supplies and housekeeping carts
• Pick up patient beds for the surgeries of the day
• Makes runs to the Lab and Blood Bank when requested by the OR room
