About The Position

The Operating Room Assistant is responsible for transporting patients, cleaning operating rooms, maintaining a clean environment, moving equipment, delivering specimens, and second scrubbing as needed. This role functions as a member of the Perioperative Nursing team and requires specific knowledge, skills, and training to work in an Operating Room Environment.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Able to read, understand, and write English
• Successful completion of Hospital Orientation
• Successful completion of Departmental Orientation and Training
