About The Position

Eagle Highlands Surgery Center, located on the northwest corner of I-465 and West 38th street, is a multispecialty surgery center with 6 operating rooms. Our services include, orthopedics, podiatry, GYN, GU, Ophthalmology, ENT. Pain management, ortho spine, and endoscopy. This is a full-time position working 40 hours weekly from 7:00am - 3:30pm.

Requirements

• Requires a High School Diploma/GED.
• Previous experience in a hospital environment preferred.
• AHA Basic Life Support for healthcare workers certification required.
• Requires strict adherence to policies and regulations regarding maintenance of sterile field.
• Requires physical stamina and proper lifting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Support the surgical team before, during and after surgery.
• Assist with operating room preparation by cleaning, procuring equipment and opening sterile supplies.
• Provide transportation and needed assistance with patient care.
• Assist Surgical Techs and Nurses with various assigned duties.
• Work as a member of the surgical team with surgeons, anesthesiologists, registered nurses, surgical technologists and other surgical personnel.
