Operating Room Assistants support the surgical team before, during, and after surgery. This role involves assisting with operating room preparation by cleaning, procuring equipment, and opening sterile supplies. They also provide transportation and necessary assistance with patient care, and assist Surgical Techs and Nurses with various assigned duties. Operating Room Assistants work as a member of the surgical team alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, registered nurses, surgical technologists, and other surgical personnel.
