About The Position

Under the direction and supervision of licensed personnel, the Operating Room Assistant assists in providing direct patient care and tasks required for daily unit functions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency (GED) with at least six months of experience working in a hospital setting.
• Completion of a recognized allied health course or six months patient care experience in a health care setting preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within the first two weeks of hire.
• Must maintain a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
