About The Position

As an Operating Room Assistant III at Riddle Hospital, you will be an integral member of the Perioperative Team, working alongside Surgical Technicians, OR Nurses, Anesthesia, and Surgeons to provide personal and environmental care and comfort to patients undergoing surgery. You will be knowledgeable in both the operation and care of specialized instruments and equipment used by our Surgical and Anesthesia team. Responsibilities include positioning, lifting and/or transferring patients, cleaning and sterilizing the Operating Room and OR equipment after each procedure, transporting specimens, managing inventory, and maintaining adequate supply levels.

Requirements

• Previous Operating Room Assistant II, anesthesia tech, or related Health Care experience required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) certification required.
