To assist in maintaining a clean environment inside the OR suite and clinical areas of the Ambulatory Surgery Center. Provide between cases, end of day, and terminal cleaning of operating rooms. Requirements
- Knowledge of safe handling of infectious materials
- Understanding of correct handling and use of cleaning products
Nice To Haves
- High school graduate
- Currently hold CPR/BLS or any other relevant healthcare certification
- Experience in Operating Room, Ambulatory Surgery Center, or procedural area
- Experience transporting patients pre-op, intra-op, or post-op
- Experience working as part of a clinical care team (RNs, surgical techs, anesthesia)
- Familiar with supporting surgical teams by transporting equipment, specimens, or supplies during cases
- Proven ability to work scheduled ASC hours, including early starts or rotating shifts if needed
- Proven ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for long periods and assisting with patient transport
- Proven assisted with OR room turnover, cleaning, and restocking
- Proven comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume ASC environment
- Proven manage multiple tasks when several rooms or teams need assistance at the same time
