About The Position

The Operating Mechanic D at Mosaic Company is responsible for unloading Sulphur barges and loading trucks, as well as performing operations and maintenance at the company's Non-Union Distribution Facilities. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous learning, requiring the mechanic to demonstrate competency in various operational and maintenance procedures.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED certificate preferred.
• Associate degree in process technology discipline preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in an industrial setting and operating mobile equipment preferred.
• Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) required once in role.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Valid driver's license required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in chemical or industrial operations.
• Proficiency in reading and writing English.
• Comfortable with basic math operations.

Responsibilities

• Unload Sulphur barges and load trucks.
• Operate and maintain equipment at Mosaic's Non-Union Distribution Facilities.
• Comply with all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies.
• Attend and participate in all safety meetings and training.
• Train and demonstrate competency in all standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain a clean work environment and comply with safety and environmental policies.
• Perform preventive maintenance procedures on trucks and loading stations.
• Conduct mobile equipment repair and maintenance of boilers and tank vessels.
