We are seeking an Operating Maintenance Engineer for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. The Lead Maintenance Mechanic performs skilled work on building systems throughout the hospital. As a member of the Facilities Management team, you will have important contact with patients, visitors and clinical staff every day. Your mechanical aptitude and knowledge of facility and plant operations are an opportunity to be a part of something bigger.   • Perform routine maintenance and light repairs in areas including plumbing, medical gas, doors and hardware, electrical, nurse call and HVAC systems.
  • Operate building automation systems.
  • Ensure the operation of fixed plant equipment by performing daily building and equipment checks and recording status of equipment.
  • Respond to building system casualties and fire alarms and take immediate action to restore services.
  • Install and/or change out appliances and wall hangings.
  • Responsible for scheduled preventative maintenance on building systems.
  • Assist in controlling and maintaining the materials inventory.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Hospital/Commercial experience preferred.
  • Skill in the use of hand and power tools used in installations, repair and maintenance of equipment, buildings and grounds.
  • Five or more years of experience preferred.
  • (DL) Driver License.
