You independently operate and maintain at least one process, equipment or systems following autonomous maintenance (AM) standards and use your technical skills to improve line and/or system performance to meet business needs. How you will contribute You are a key ingredient in changing how the world snacks. With coaching, you will operate and maintain equipment to deliver on our safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets. You will use execute all standard work processes on your equipment using AM (autonomous maintenance) and PM (progressive maintenance) standards and ensure that safety processes are observed, and that quality assurance activities are performed. You will bring experience and knowledge in: Operating machines with coaching Safety and quality standards for operating machines Reading and writing, and fluently conversant in the language of communication as appropriate to the site Collaborating well in a diverse work environment More about this role 1) Physical activities of this position: - Climbing occasionally. - Stooping, kneeling, crouching frequently. - Crawling short distances occasionally. - Reaching arm's length frequently. - Standing for sustained periods - Walking two miles daily. - Lifting up to fifty lbs. frequently. - Using fingers, grasping tools, small parts. - Feeling - Talking (expressing ideas/information by means of spoken word). - Hearing (hearing sounds, receive oral speech, discriminate differences in pitch). - Repetitive motions of wrists, hands or fingers. 2) Physical requirements of this position: Heavy work - Lifting 50 pounds frequently may be required 3) Visual Acuity requirements including color, depth perception and field of vision: Job functions include Machine operating, Close Equipment Inspections, Machine assembly and disassembly using wrenches and tools, working alongside production operators and other skilled trade’s people, read manuals and operations instructions, clerical administrative duties and work at a computer terminal. 4) Environmental factors: Subject to both inside and outside working conditions. Subject to extreme heat, above 100 degrees for more than one hour. Subject to vibrations affecting extremities or whole body. Subject to hazards: moving machinery, electrical current, high places, chemicals, heat. Subject to atmospheric conditions: Fumes, dust, odors, mists, gasses, oils. 5) Work schedule: 10.30 pm - 6.30 am, 5 days on, 2 days off (OT available, Weekends flexibility) #USHOURLY Salary and Benefits: The hourly wage for this position is $36.04/hr with $0.75 hourly Second shift differential and $1.5 hourly third shift differential.
