About The Position

Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of low-pressure steam boilers and auxiliary equipment in a Power Plant setting. Ensures systems are running efficiently and safely, with full compliance to regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Experience with operating and maintaining Low-pressure steam boilers and related equipment.
• Must have New Jersey Black Seal License.
• Valid NJ Driver's License required

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain: Boilers, motors, compressors, pumps, valves, blowers.
• Ensure maximum energy efficiency.
• Perform and record tests: Fuel consumption, pressure, temperature, steam flow.
• Add required chemical treatments for steam, water, and fuel.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work environment.
• Conduct continuous inspections and report issues.
• Be on-call for Power Plant emergencies.
• Maintain detailed logs and records, and complete all paperwork.
• Analyze and troubleshoot problems.
• Perform additional duties as assigned including maintenance task through out multiple buildings and snow removal.
