This isn't your standard maintenance job; it is a high-level technical command position. You will be at the helm of a sophisticated Combined Heat and Power (CHP) facility, utilizing advanced computer-based distributed control systems (DCS) to manage massive gas and steam turbines. This is a rare opportunity to operate a "micro-grid" environment where you are responsible for the generation and distribution of power on a massive scale. Requirements

• Two years of experience in the operation or maintenance of a high-voltage power generation facility; OR
• Three years of experience in the operation or maintenance of chemical, pulp, and paper, or oil or gas processing facilities; OR
• Four years of experience or training in the operation or maintenance of large stationary engines or mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain gas turbine generator.
• Operate and maintain power and heat recovery boilers.
• Operate and monitor electrical power distribution system.
• Perform water chemical analysis and adjust chemical treatment systems.
• Operate and monitor building management computer system.
• Call out appropriate personnel for after hours work orders.
