Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Preferred 2 years of machine operator experience.
  • Preferred 2 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Willingness to accept greater responsibility.
  • Ability to work with little or no direct supervision and handle high-stress situations.
  • Physical ability to perform frequent sitting and standing, moderate bending, walking, reaching, and some squatting.

Nice To Haves

  • Willingness to work rotating shifts.
  • Ability to work overtime and be on-call to support 24/7 operations.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a team to ensure optimal production levels.
  • Learn to successfully operate equipment within job classification.
  • Perform general clean-up duties at the end of each shift and throughout the day.
  • Sweep, pick up, and saw broken and crooked boards, and shovel sawdust as part of clean-up.
