About The Position

NVI, LLC, a Louisiana-based nondestructive testing service provider, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Operating Analyst to support our Accounting team at our Corporate office in Gray, LA. This role is focused on data analysis, reporting, and operational insights that drive business performance across divisions. The Operating Analyst will support the CFO by maintaining, analyzing, and reporting on operational and financial data across the organization. This role is primarily responsible for data extraction, validation, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems. The position plays a key role in providing reliable data that supports internal decision-making, reporting, and overall business visibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, financial support, or similar role
  • Experience in a labor based or field service environment
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data organization)
  • Ability to manage and work with large datasets
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to follow established processes and meet deadlines
  • Clear and effective communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Data Management & Reporting Extract, compile, and maintain data from systems
  • Build and maintain recurring reports related to workforce, financial, and operational metrics
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across multiple systems
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Financial & Operational Support Assist with preparation of routine financial and operational reports
  • Provide data support for budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Data Analysis Perform basic data analysis to identify trends, variances, and inconsistencies
  • Support as needed reporting requests from the CFO
  • Assist in translating data into clear, usable formats (reports, spreadsheets, summaries)
  • Process & System Support Assist in maintaining and improving reporting processes and workflows
  • Support efforts to align data between financial and operational systems
  • Recommend improvements to reporting efficiency and data accuracy
