Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to read a tape measure to 1/32”.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Ability to monitor gauges, dials, and indicators for equipment performance.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
Ability to work in seasonal heat conditions.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Must have valid Driver's License

Nice To Haves

Experience using protractors and calipers a plus.

Responsibilities

Inspect saws and safety guards at the start of the shift to ensure safe working condition.
Adjust saw gauges to required cut lengths as specified by customer orders.
Load extrusions onto the saw deck.
Perform quality checks according to procedures, including tolerance and squareness checks.
Monitor lubrication levels and perform light preventive maintenance.
Clear machine jams and make necessary adjustments.
Operate saws to meet daily production and efficiency goals.
Monitor equipment to ensure maximum uptime.
Produce quality parts to meet production schedules and audit parts throughout the process.
Work with supervisors and team members to maximize production capabilities.
Complete all quality documentation accurately and on time.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
