The position involves performing physical assessments of patients, reviewing their medical history, and interpreting diagnostic tests/results to provide effective treatment. The role includes conducting preventive health screenings based on the patient's age, history, and unique needs, as well as educating patients and their families about specialty care medical conditions, treatment, and follow-up. The candidate will maintain records of all patient care to ensure accurate patient history and perform specialty care medical procedures in accordance with departmental guidelines. Additionally, the role requires identifying ways to improve inpatient and outpatient specialty care by assessing, problem-solving, and evaluating clinical and system issues. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
