About The Position

As an Intelligence Analyst Senior at GDIT, you will ensure the safety and security of our nation by applying the latest technology and providing operational support to deliver actionable intelligence. You will leverage open source and commercial software tools to review, assess, and collect data from a variety of sources, including news publications, blogs, social media platforms, and more. Your role will involve analyzing data to identify investigative opportunities and intelligence to support various investigative programs, including cybercrime and workplace violence.

Requirements

• 8+ years of related experience supporting intelligence operations pertaining to cybercrimes, cryptocurrency, and dark web.
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering, cyber or related discipline.
• Experience in using cyber intelligence tools and software.
• Advanced understanding of the methods used by cyber-criminals to hide themselves on the Internet.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent writing skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with visual tools such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, and/or i2 Analyst Notebook.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data from various sources to identify investigative opportunities and intelligence.
• Evaluate Internet information from social media, chats, forums, and other data sources.
• Perform prioritized assessments of data to identify critical and reliable information.
• Create intelligence and investigative reports detailing the steps taken and conclusions drawn.
• Use cyber intelligence tools to search and mine publicly available Internet and dark web data.
• Identify and analyze Virtual Currency or Cryptocurrency transactions through dark web sources.
• Conduct analyses and research to report results using tabular, pictorial, or graphical techniques.
