Calhoun International is seeking a qualified Open-Source Intelligence Collector to support an INDOPACOM customer. The OSINT collector will be responsible for conducting research and collecting information available from public, private, and U.S. and foreign Government open-source materials while adhering to established security protocols. This role involves writing open-source intelligence reports (OSIRs) based on both foreign and domestic publicly available information to address defense intelligence requirements. The position requires a deep understanding of various OSINT/PAI databases and tools, as well as the ability to develop and implement OSINT collection plans effectively. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of related experience, with at least a portion of that experience occurring within the last two years. A Master's degree is preferred, or a Bachelor's degree combined with an additional 5 years of senior experience, totaling 17 years, can substitute for the Master's degree. Candidates should be proficient in using current OSINT/PAI databases and tools, including but not limited to Dataminr, Babel Street, Scraawl, Maltego, Open IO, Zignal, Echosec, SILO, TweetDeck, HootSuite, Hyperion, Google Dorking, Dark Web Systems, and other similar link analysis/nodal development products. Additionally, familiarity with CCMD level planning and operations, as well as collection management processes, is essential. The candidate should also have experience writing in accordance with the DIA Style Manual and have 1-2 years of experience writing OSIRs in accordance with DIA Defense Intelligence Enterprise Manager (DIEM) guidance. Successful completion of relevant courses such as US Army BOSIC, DIA BOSC 301, DIA BOSC 302, DIA BOTC, or DIA AOTC is highly desirable. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high OPTEMPO environment is crucial for success in this role.
