The Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Operations Team is responsible for engineering and supporting the foundational technology used across M&T Bank. This includes managing two Data Centers, 15,000 Distributed platforms, and 24 Mainframe Regions, as well as maintaining a secure and reliable Network that connects all technology across the bank's footprint. We process approximately 635,000 automated jobs each month and own the operational support processes that ensure a unified and well-managed technology response when issues arise. Our team collaborates closely with line of business CIOs to deliver innovative technology solutions that enhance the internal customer experience. We are currently seeking an experienced OpenShift/Kubernetes Engineer to join our team. This role involves managing and maintaining the bank's container platform, with a focus on OpenShift and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate will possess expert knowledge of these platforms and best practices for cluster deployments. A significant aspect of this position will involve working with the latest technologies and making recommendations on how to leverage them effectively. Strong technical credentials, experience in containers, networking, storage, compute, and cloud infrastructure design and implementation are essential, along with excellent communication skills.
