Computershare has an exciting opportunity for a permanent full-time Open Shift Linux Engineer to join our Services Operations group as part of our Computershare Technology Services (CTS) team.
Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd and 3rd Line support to Business escalated via the ‘Service Now’ system.
- Support and maintain OpenShift platform on VMware and Nutanix hardware.
- Build and maintain GitOps pipelines to deploy applications on to OpenShift platform.
- Ensure all Platform Systems are available and meet with Company requirements along with logical and physical security measures.
- Manage hardware and software fault calls according to relevant maintenance contracts and in line with problem management processes.
- Build pro-active and constructive professional relationships with other teams and departments.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in computer engineering or related field or foreign equivalent degree plus 3 years of related experience.
- Skills in installing, upgrading, maintaining and developing OpenShift platforms using OpenShift subject matter OC CliYaml scripts, Core OS, Ansible.
- Ability to analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new application on to OpenShift platform.
- Experience deploying and managing monitoring, security and logging applications onto OpenShift platform using Advanced Cluster Security (ACS), Stackrox, Sumologic, Dynatrace applications.
- Support applications running on OpenShift platform to maintain business continuity, compliant with versions release and regulations.
