About The Position
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for an open rank/open track faculty position depending on the applicant qualification in the Department of Orthodontics at the UNC Adams School of Dentistry ( ASOD ). Responsibilities include providing didactic instruction and clinical supervision for advanced education and pre-doctoral students in the dental school. This position will also participate in the Dental Faculty Practice. A record of scholarly activity is desirable, and the pursuit of scholarly activity is expected. Attractive opportunities for collaboration exist within the ASOD , the Craniofacial Center, the academic health center, and the greater University. The ideal candidate must have a demonstrated record of achievement as an excellent clinician, teacher, mentor, leader, and care provider.
