About The Position

The University of Utah seeks a Tenure Track faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor in the Department of Nutrition and Integrative Physiology (NUIP). The successful candidate will have a research program focused on the intersection of metabolism and disease, with a strong record of research productivity. The position will involve developing an independent, extramurally-funded research program and contributing to teaching at the graduate level. The faculty member will have access to outstanding research cores and will be expected to mentor graduate students and serve on thesis committees. A generous start-up funding will be provided.

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated record of research productivity.
• Experience in basic or early translational research.
• Commitment to improving access to higher education and healthcare for underrepresented groups.
