Wake Forest University School of Medicine invites applications to fill an open rank, tenure track position with an individual studying the intersection of biological aging and chronic disease. The candidate will connect with a leading translational research program seeking to improve human health through a better understanding of aging biology. We are particularly interested in those working in the areas of: Aging of the key physiologic systems critical to physical function and healthy aging including: the immune, musculoskeletal, endocrine, and cardiovascular systems; Geroscience, exploring age-related biological contributors to human health and physical function; Intervention development focused on optimizing health through applying mechanistic understanding of aging; The application of bioinformatic approaches to the above.
