About The Position

The Economics Department at the Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina invites applications and nominations for an open rank tenure-track faculty position in economics to begin August 16, 2026. All faculty searches are subject to the availability of funding.

Requirements

• A doctoral degree in economics or closely related field by the start date of employment.
• Candidates at the Associate Professor level must have at least 6 years of academic and/or industry experience by the start date of employment, a record of high-impact research, and demonstrated excellence in teaching.
• Candidates at the Professor level must have a consistent career of impactful academic publications, and possess a demonstrated national or international reputation in their field of economics.
