About The Position

The Department of Orthopaedics and Physical Medicine is hiring a physical medicine and rehabilitation provider as a faculty member in our physical medicine division. This hire will serve and support all missions in the department with clinical, research, and teaching responsibilities. The physical medicine and rehabilitation physician will help support inpatient consultation, inpatient acute rehabilitation care, and outpatient neurorehabilitation and spasticity treatment. Strategically, physical medicine and rehabilitation will travel to our ambulatory and outreach clinics in South Carolina. The Department of Orthopaedics and Physical Medicine has 45 Faculty members serving the clinical, research, and education missions. The department delivers the region’s most comprehensive range of musculoskeletal services, encompassing every orthopaedic subspecialty. We treat more than 14,000 patients each year with the most innovative technology and sophisticated procedures. The preferred candidate will have a robust clinical background as well as a sincere interest in both education and research and possess education experience.
