The Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine is currently recruiting emergency medicine physicians in the clinical series working primarily as nocturnists. This position will work as a full-time faculty position at the rank of Instructor/Senior Instructor (Nocturnist) in the Department of Emergency Medicine at any UCHealth site of practice, which may include virtual platforms of care. The successful candidate will be an excellent clinician who collaborates well within teams to deliver the highest quality of emergency care to every patient, every time. This is a predominant night schedule with minimal-to-no rotation into daytime shifts. Nocturnists can work up to 24 hours of day shifts per month, if desired. This position will receive a night shift differential (varies by site). Nocturnists work together to create their own schedules, allowing for more flexibility and support.
